Lion Development & RENTAL12
Global Vision, Local Soul. Anastasia's design language is the result of a decade spent in the high-velocity real estate sectors of Dubai, Odessa, and Moscow. In these metropolises, she mastered the art of large-scale luxury, architectural precision, and the psychology of space.
Today, she channels that international rigour into the rugged, wind-swept landscapes of Sardinia. She doesn't just design interiors; she translates the silence and light of the Mediterranean into tangible, living forms.
Moving from the polished steel of international skylines to the raw granite of Gallura required a shift in perspective. As Design Director for AZULIS and Lion Development, Anastasia founded her approach on "Intelligent Comfort" — a philosophy that rejects empty ornamentation in favour of sensory wellbeing.
She understands that true luxury is not about gold taps, but about the way light hits a textured wall at sunset, or how a room flows effortlessly during a summer dinner party. Whether revitalising a historic liberty-style apartment in Olbia or conceptualising a sea-view villa in Golfo Aranci, her goal is to create environments that feel inevitable.
Her role involves a complex orchestration of aesthetics and logistics. A beautiful room is useless if it cannot withstand the wear of a high-season rental. Anastasia bridges this gap, ensuring that the "AZULIS Standard" is met in every joinery detail.
Anastasia's designs do not exist in a vacuum. She works at the centre of a tight feedback loop to ensure that "Design" translates into "Experience."
What distinguishes the AZULIS aesthetic under Anastasia Duke's direction in Sardinia?
The AZULIS aesthetic combines the warmth of Sardinian vernacular architecture with clean, contemporary minimalism — using local materials like Orosei marble, San Giacomo granite, and handcrafted chestnut woods.
It is a balance of memory and modernity. We respect the ancient materials of the island — granite, raw iron, and wood — but we apply them with the uncompromised geometry of contemporary design. The result is spaces that feel both timeless and new.
How does the RENTAL12 design process prioritise the guest experience?
Every layout is conceived mobile-first for modern living — prioritising flow, intuitive utility, and sensory calm. High-end aesthetics never compromise profound comfort.
We design mobile-first for modern living. This means prioritising flow, intuitive utility, and sensory calm. High-end aesthetics should never compromise profound comfort — a guest should feel immediately at ease from the moment they step through the door.
Are the AZULIS interior elements locally sourced in Sardinia?
Yes. AZULIS prioritises a zero-kilometre approach: Orosei marble floors, San Giacomo granite, custom joinery by Olbia artisans, and handcrafted chestnut woods reflecting the soul of the territory.
We prioritise a zero-kilometre approach. From Orosei marble floors to custom joinery made by Olbia artisans, we believe the luxury of the home should reflect the soul of the territory. Sardinian materials are not just beautiful — they are durable and sustainable.
