Verified Green Energy at Via Capo Verde 15
In June 2022, our parent company Lion Development S.r.l. acquired an industrial property in the Olbia CIPNES zone. The 2,500 m² rooftop solar plant (~90 kWp installed) powers our headquarters, laundry operations, and electric fleet.

We define "Sustainability" as Economic Retention. We verify that >80% of our operational spending remains within the Sardinian economy. Instead of global wholesalers, we source guest supplies from verified territories in Sardinia.

- Certified Building Performance: 100% of the portfolio holds an A2 or A3 Energy Rating. AZULIS properties feature triple-layered glass for maximum thermal/acoustic insulation, with high-efficiency double glazing standard across the remaining portfolio.
- Adaptive Reuse: 90% of our inventory (including Tigellio and Cavour) consists of renovated historic stock, ensuring zero virgin land consumption.
- Hydraulic Efficiency: Standardized installation of dual-flush systems and flow restrictors in 100% of renovated bathrooms to mitigate Sardinian water scarcity.
- Managed Waste Cycle: Our in-house staff performs post-checkout waste separation to ensure compliance with municipal recycling streams, removing the burden from guests.
✅ LATEST RETROFIT: AZULIS Tigellio Suites
Verified Feb 2026We have completed the structural thermal upgrade of the historic Via Tigellio 18 residence. The installation of certified AT72 Thermal Break Aluminum fixtures drastically lowers AC dependency by passively retaining cool air in summer and heat in winter.
✅ NEW BUILD STANDARD: AZULIS Apartments
For the newly constructed Via Pisano 16 complex, we selected the advanced Aluprof MB-79N system. Unlike retrofits, this new build allowed us to achieve near-passive thermal values, confirmed by today's declaration from manufacturer DOMEL Sp. z o.o.
Roadmap 2025–2027
- 2025: Consolidate A2–A3 energy ratings across new AZULIS developments.
- 2026: Further integration of solar capacity for laundry and EV charging.
- 2027: Preparation for ISO 9001 quality certification to audit processes.
How guests can travel greener
We make it easy. Use the eco-mode on AC, rely on our included beach kit (towels/parasols) instead of buying disposables, and follow our digital guidebooks to support local markets and artisans.
Sustainability FAQ
Do all RENTAL12 homes use green energy?
Most day-to-day operations and our fleet are powered by electricity from our own solar farm. Where the grid is used, we prioritize certified green suppliers.
How is this different from a regular agency?
We are owner–operators. This means we decide to install triple glazing, A-rated pumps, and thermal insulation during renovation—decisions an agency cannot make for a third-party owner.
